way, in dixville notch history that it tied. >> voters will start heading to the polls across the country. here's a look at which states opened their polling places at 6:00 a.m. eastern time. they include key swing states such as new hampshire and virginia. a handful of states start voting 30 minutes after that at 6:30 am eastern time. one of those states coveted ohio. ainsley earhardt live in our new york headquarters tracking battle ground states. doug lieu zahered looking at the last minute plans in ohio and pennsylvania. >> we start with kelly wright on president obama's final stops in the campaign trails. good morning to you. even though the president was criticized for the handling of benghazi and the economy his final closing argument is

expressing his general principals about his vision for america. >> when we talk about change we know what it looks like because we fought for it. we have the scars to prove it. i have the gray hair to show it. sometime it is has been hard, sometime it is has been frustrating. we understand that. but what we also know is when we decide to make a difference, when americans come together. >> the president will stay at his home in chicago today. he will play a game of basketball as he did on election day four years ago. he will appeal to voters by satellite interviews. kelly wright live for us in washington. mitt romney's campaign going into over drive. he's trying to meet and greet as many voters as possible.

doug luzader has more. >> you look at the national landscape a lot of states in gray what do you stop campaigning? it is today they have added two states to the itinerary ohio and pennsylvania. that was after a big step by mitt romney in new hampshire. it was a huge crowd in manchest manchester. it is where the romney campaign took off. romney is vowing to deliver if in fact the state helped make him the next president. you see accomplishing real change is not something i just talk about it is something i have done. one i will do when i am president of the united states.

magic number of 270 electoral votes. president obama and mitt romney both know just one state could make or break their campaign. ainsley earhardt talks about what state will decide it all. >> every vote counts especially in this state. both campaigns will be focused on a handful of states. the first state all eyes will be on is virginia. 14 states in virginia. president owe bam bhauz the only democrat to win since 1980. the race is a dead heat. next north carolina polls close at 7:30 p.m. president obama hasn't campaign there had in weeks. ohio, no republican has ever won the presidency without winning ohio. the biggest prize among the

swing states 29 votes. the 2000 recount is still a vif individual memory. romney has a small lead there demonstrating how close this campaign is. there are just four votes at stake in new hampshire. both spending time there during the home stretch. one possible wild card, pennsylvania. if mitt romney wins it's 20 votes it could be difficult for president obama to make up ground. he had a late surge in the polls and will head there today. four key states close at 9:00 p.m. that includes paul ryan from the state of wisconsin. ten votes there it has gone democratic since 88. 2000 and 2004 were decided by less than half a percentage point. president obama won colorado four years ago but mitt romney has it there. polls close in minnesota and in michigan at 9. in iowa democratic in five of

the last elections. mitt romney scored endorsements from all 4 major newspapers there. nevada both close at 10:00. the president has a small but steady lead there. as the numbers are coming in maybe you can help determine who is going to win. how will they resinate with viewers? >> the two closing arguments i would rather be making the type of one that romney is making than the one that president obama is making. the president is burdened by a record he has basically not done what he said he would do. that is a huge problem for him. so necessarily there is a larger component to dump it on the other guy in his closing argument than it is in romney. romney talking about hope and change. that's what obama said four years ago. that's a more uplifting final

information of people flock to the voteling. we are live from a polling station at the university of central florida. hi, ray. >> that's right. all eyes will be here in central florida. a whole bunch of people are expected to come out here in the ucs arena. the long lines and people that came out to vote there are longer lines today. the poerls opened in florida about two hours from now. we know with this particular polling spot there were a lot of problems during the 2008 presidential election. the county didn't have enough staff members and extra polling staff had to be brought here to accommodate the massive crowds. we understand students waited as long as 5 and a half hours in order to cast their ballots. of course florida is important.

president obama was supposed to speak here at the campus to rally democratic supporters but had to cancel that event because of hurricane sandy. but we know a lot of students are expected to vote here. ucf campus is the second largest campus in the country. we know in the 2008 presidential election 23 million young people voted during that election. we will wait to see the numbers of how many young people vote in this presidential election. the uccucc -- we are live outsi ucf campus. >> thank you so much live in orlando. the candidates they have spent over a year making their case to the american people. comb

bill o'reilly talks about in giving his analysis. >> if president obama loses the election it would be because he could not convince america that his big government philosophy would improve the economy. even though mr. obama has that trouble in other areas like libya it is the economy that has made this election a struggle for him. the cold truth is, the president has not improved the american economy. if you were voting just on that you will vote against him. >> if mitt romney loses it will be because he did not get his message out. over the past three weeks of the campaign the governor has played it very cautious. he did a few meaningful interviews relying on local campaigning in key states to put him over the top. they do not endorse political candidates believing you are smart enough to know who afor w you want to vote. it is my job to look out for the country so i will be blunt. voting for obama can be risky.

change pennsylvania this year. he will be paining a stop in the battle ground state actually today. his concern there is how sandy is going to effect people getting to the polls. wtfx stephanie expo seat toe is live at a polling site relocated because of the storm at the last minute. stephanie? >> good morning, heather. i am in regalesville about an hour outside philadelphia near eastern pennsylvania. if you are not familiar with the area it is a very rural area lots of trees and power lines were tangled when hurricane sandy hit. this is the regalville firehouse. it was supposed to originally the polling place was supposed to be at the borough hall. there is still power there. there are about a,000 households that still don't have power. doesn't souped like a lot. but on friday there were about 50,000 without power including hundreds of polling places. they had to make quick last

minute changes. they also extended the deadline for saabsentee ballots. to make things easier for people hard hit for the storm. that wasn't the only last minute change, though, because sandy hit pretty hard and made the state carry a little more weight in this election. some people calling this now a swing state. it is a critical region for winning the state of pennsylvania. typically it goes blue -- or red rather, but in 2008 the county went for president obama. really it will all turnout. back to you heather. who can get the most numbers out there? thank you very much stephanie ex seat toe, thank you. >> some call this the most negative in history. >> at the time a candidate by the name of mitt romney... which states do you phit for th obama campaign. it is none of them. they have essentially stopped campaigning at this point. mitt romney added two states to the schedule today. ohio and pennsylvania. these are going to be critical states. they will be watching very closely. especially after the polls close and start getting results coming in. yesterday the romney campaign wraps things up in new hampshire. four electoral votes is going to be a tight race up there as well. it is where it all began for the romney campaign. so many months ago mitt romney announced his candidacy there. last nitrogen he asked the state for their support. >> if there is any one worried that the last four years are the best they can do if there is any one who feels the american dream is fading away. if there is any one who wonders if better jobs and better paychecks are a things of the past, i have a cl unequivocal message. with the right leadership america is going to come roaring

in. doug luzader in washington thank you. >> being able to vote in a free election is a wonderful privilege in this country. everyone can get out and do it. not everyone is playing fair at the polls. there is already reports of multiple voter fraud problems across the country including in the key state of ohio. eric shawn has more from there. heather and patti ann while millions went to the polls there are concerns about possible voter fraud. there are several cases popping up now in several areas around the country. in iowa there is investigation into possible fraud involving voter registrations and absentee ballots. secretary of state of iowa is investigating. he told us we take all allegations of voter fraud seriously. we hired a criminal investigator to handle all of the allegations

of voter praud in iowa. there was a ballot tampering investigation at the county clerk. may be filling in republican that voters left blank. voters registered at this vacant lot could be used for fraud. 18 people are registered to vote here even though the trailer park that was once here was removed three years ago. the voter integrity project is trying to stop fraud. >> they could take the information and utilize it fraudulently. that is unfortunate. >> ohio election say they will be on the lookout for election problems. if they see tort activities location coordinator there they are responsible for making sure that doesn't happen there. obviously if they see anything elts at the call o-- anything ey call our board. a woman was charged with trying to vote twice in loss a angeles.
